Hey friends, I hope that you are having a great summer. One of the marks of discipleship is loving relationships. Jesus actually says that by this mark, by this discipline, by this expression, the world is going to know that you follow me. The way in which you love one another.

A high value at Calvary is loving relationships. It’s the way in which we bear with one another, care for one another, love one another, pray for one another. It’s the one anothers of scripture. And so, what you see behind me is the staff enjoying relationship. Today we’re hanging out as a staff because we love doing ministry with you, and we love doing ministry with one another. I pray that this summer you find time. Maybe it’s later in the evening around the kitchen table, in the backyard, around a grill, playing sports with other friends and families in your neighborhood or at church, that you would be able to experience loving relationships in an incarnational way. Not just on digital platforms, but in a way in which you share the same space, breathe the same air.

And so, we’re praying that you would grow in your loving relationships as we continue to grow in our loving relationships. And so, mark ourselves, distinguish ourselves as disciples of Jesus Christ. I hope you’re enjoying the wisdom series this summer. We’re going to continue this Sunday, so join us in Boulder, Thornton, Erie, or online. We look forward to being together with you very soon.
