Settled in Unsettling Times – Luke 21

We live in a chaotic world. Things like technology, money, the pursuit of status keep us away from God. Cultural values and political beliefs increasing divide us from our neighbors. Our hearts and minds are divided and increasingly isolated. More than ever we need the way of Jesus but we seem to have lost the path. Early in the Gospel of Luke we are told that Jesus grew, “in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” By looking to Jesus we can find hope and a way out of chaos, growing in wisdom, stature, and favor ourselves. We can find the good life God intended for us in Jesus. This is indeed good news for everyone.
