LOCAL OUTREACH

Partnering with the Thornton community and the surrounding area

PRAY • LEARN • ENGAGE

In Your Local Community

Pray: Pray specifically for your local community – that it would thrive and be a place of flourishing for all people. Ask God how he is asking you to participate in the local community.

Learn: Be curious about your community: What is its history? Who lives and works here? What are the strengths and needs here? Where do people hangout? Attend a neighborhood HOA meeting or the local school board meeting. Learn as much as you can about an area of interest to you.

Engage: Serve alongside an organization, with neighbors, or with your LifeGroup to meet a need you see in your community.

Neighboring

Neighboring is all about loving others and sharing the gospel where you live, work, and play. Find practical tips, resources, tools, and encouragement to equip you to live sent where God has you; in your neighborhood, workplace, or on the soccer fields.

Those that are able to meet the need will then “stand in the gap” to help meet the need. Some examples include moving furniture for a older person in the church or helping rake leaves while someone is dealing with an injury. Fill out our form to join the team!
