High School Backpacking

Our backpacking trips are six-day adventure-packed journeys through some of Colorado’s most beautiful scenery filled with peak climbing, backpacking, river crossings, and sleeping under the stars. With the distractions of modern life left behind, each person will be stretched to new personal limits, experience the wonders of God’s creation, and develop deeper friendships. We have a variety of trips going out at four different times throughout the summer. You will need to be able to carry about a 30lb pack for a few miles.

The guides for each week will determine a route for their particular trip based on the time of the year, weather, fire bans and other factors.

Each trip we take out 11 students (incoming freshman – graduated seniors), 2 trained guides, and 1-2 other adult leaders.
