PAUL PETERSEN

DIRECTOR OF STUDENT MINISTRIES

BOULDER CAMPUS

Paul was born in Boulder and grew up along the Front Range before attending the University of Colorado in 2010. He met his wife, Aimee—a South Dakota native—during college, and they were married at Calvary in 2015, which has been their church home ever since.

Since 2014, Paul and Aimee have served with The Navigators, reaching college students in Boulder. Paul has been the Campus Director with The Navigators since 2022. They’re passionate about helping others come to know and follow Christ. In 2022, Paul earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He loves creatively teaching God’s Word and developing resources that equip believers for ministry.

Together with their four children—Jo, Elizabeth, Berekiah, and Theoden—the Petersens enjoy opening their home and building friendships. Over the past year, Paul has also been volunteering with Chaos and WNT. They’re excited to serve students and partner with families at Calvary to disciple the next generation.
