Partnering with the Erie community

Habitat for Humanity Build Days

Over a year ago, we partnered with Habitat to begin building at the Sugar Mill Development in Longmont. Since then, many homes have been completed and families have moved in! There are still a few homes to finish so we have set up more Calvary build days throughout the summer. Come to as many as you can!

  • Dates: July 26, and/or August 16
Where: 1555 Great Western Dr, Longmont, CO 80501
Who: We need two types of volunteers:
      1. Build Volunteers (8am-3pm): Must be 16+ and no construction experience is required. Tasks may include framing, siding, painting, finish work, landscaping, etc.
      2. Lunch Volunteers (11am-1pm): Help serve volunteers lunch by picking up the provided food and setting up a lunch table at the build site. Join the volunteers for lunch, then help clean up!

Senior Snow Removal

Each winter season, volunteers and families are paired with a senior living in Erie who needs help with snow removal on their sidewalk and driveway. Volunteers commit to shoveling for the senior within 24 hours of every snowstorm with the goal of assisting, loving, and getting to know our neighbors.
