Partnering with the Erie community

Erie Gap Team

The Erie Gap Team is a group of people who have a heart to serve the community of Erie and are willing to stand in the gap whenever a need presents itself. The team is notified by email or phone of needs as they come up. Those that are able will then “stand in the gap” to help meet the need of the community. For more info contact Jennifer Jones.

ENGLISH CONVERSATION CIRCLES

The scriptures command us to welcome and care for the sojourner. The English Conversation Circle is an opportunity for us to foster relationships with our refugee neighbors and to help them practice speaking English. Conversation Circles take place once a week in the spring and fall during the school year in Northglenn. Volunteers both with and without ESOL experience are needed!

Senior Snow Removal

Each winter season, volunteers and families are paired with a senior living in Erie who needs help with snow removal on their sidewalk and driveway. Volunteers commit to shoveling for the senior within 24 hours of every snowstorm with the goal of caring for and getting to know our neighbors.
