HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

HABITAT – Violet Avenue Project

Saturday October 12, from 9am-3pm

Join Calvary as we collaborate with Habitat for Humanity to help build affordable housing for struggling families in Boulder. No experience necessary. This is a great opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join you and see first hand how Calvary supports its community.  To sign up, please see instructions below.  If you have questions or have a group of 10-15 people and would like a date reserved specifically for your group, email Kristen Reiner.

SIGN-UP INSTRUCTIONS:  

Please use one of the following internet browsers:  Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Apple Safari. 

1).  Go to the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity website:  https://www.flatironshabitat.org/

2).  Click on the blue Volunteer box in the upper right corner of the page.

3).  On the next screen, go to the right top corner of the screen, and choose either:

Log In (if you already have an account with Flatirons Habitat) 

      or 

Create Account to create an account with a login and password.

4).  While creating your account, be sure to type Calvary in the Join Code box, and skip the Affiliations option.

5).  Complete your account by entering your information, clicking Next where necessary.

6).  The site will bring you back to the volunteer calendar.  Scroll to 10/12/24 in the calendar and click on Violet Community New Build.

7).  After clicking Signup, you will be taken to the waiver. 

8).  Read the waiver, and if you agree to it, click “I understand” then click Next.

9).  Registration complete:  please read this next screen, as it has important information about footwear, attire, etc. 

10). For those of you who already have an account, please ensure that you have selected Calvary as your join code.  You can do this by signing in to your account, clicking on your name in the top right corner and selecting Enter Join Code.  Type Calvary into the box on the next screen and click Join.

 You will immediately receive two emails from Habitat- one confirming your account and the other confirming your registration for the build day.  Lunch will be provided.
