STUDENT MINISTRY INTERN
BOULDER CAMPUS

Purpose

To build Christ centered communities of people fully devoted to loving God and loving others by assisting to develop, coordinate, and administer an effective student ministry, by using their gifts and talents to lead students, leaders and parents into a disciple-making lifestyle.

Requirements.

Born again Christian with clear evidence of a godly lifestyle.

Agreement with Calvary Bible Church Bylaws

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support in leading of programs for the student ministry in coordination with the Director of Student Ministries.
  • Lead and support smaller programs, like weekly Bible studies and Summer Hangouts.
  • Support and implement the vision, values, and goals of student ministries with student ministry team.
  • Lead and guide students in the ministry to a deeper life in Jesus Christ and push them towards a disciple-making lifestyle.
  • Teach weekly to biweekly and receive training from the Director of Student Ministries in teaching.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum, trips, and events for the student ministry to move students towards a disciple-making lifestyle.
  • Contribute to growing the student ministry in the area of service.
  • Support the connection and assimilation process of all incoming new students.
  • Contribute to the communication to leaders, students, and parents through a variety of forms of communication (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, text messaging…).
  • Intentional emphasis with a small group of students by helping them live a disciple-making lifestyle.
  • Contribute to the recruiting, training, and encouraging of leaders.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the student ministries facilities and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
