July 13–17, 2026
8:30AM-12:30PM
6th Grade Adventure Week is an event tailored for the upcoming 6th-grade class at Calvary in Erie this summer! Our goal is to help students be known and know others before the school year begins. 6th-grade students are encouraged to participate in this middle school ministry event instead of serving at Kids Week.
Our daily adventure includes 4 steps:
1. Walk to Coal Creek Park at 8:30 AM
2. Start each day with personal time with God and small group conversations
3. Load buses and vans and travel to a destination
4. Have fun on an adventure
5. Enjoy snacks or a fun treat

Digital Device Policy
Middle school students are not permitted to bring digital devices with a screen and/or have wifi capability on trips. This includes cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.
Humans were designed by God to flourish when we have connected relationships with Him, other people, nature, and ourselves. The trips we take are strategically designed to give students opportunities to grow their connection in each of these relational areas and are structured so that students will never need digital devices. Devices can be distracting and can create access to inappropriate content while students are away from home.
If a student needs to call home, they will have access to their cabin leader’s and other Calvary staff members’ phones to use.
If a family feels strongly about their student taking a phone then it will be checked in and held by their leader.
