OUTDOOR SERVICES

September 6

Final Week

Please read below thoroughly because this page includes necessary information about service times and important instructions for everyone’s health and safety. Also, we know that not everyone will be able to attend these outdoor services for varying reasons so we want you to know that we will continue to provide our online services at calvarybible.com each week. It is important that we all stay unified, gracious, and humble in these days. We are committed to serving you with excellence.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

These are the following guidelines approved by our local health officials and law enforcement.

When should I stay home?

Please stay home if you show any symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. If you are considered especially vulnerable to complications due to COVID-19, we encourage you to join our online services. For a list of those groups most vulnerable, please see this link from the CDC.

Is social distancing required?

Maintain social distancing with a minimum of six feet from all other households. We will follow a singular flow of traffic while entering and exiting the lawn.

Do I need to wear a mask?

We strongly encourage you to wear a mask. Masks have been shown to be effective at slowing the spread of COVID-19. Staff and volunteers are required to wear masks and have their temperature taken.

Will hand sanitizer be available?

Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the property.

Where should I sit?

Bring your own chair, blanket, umbrella, and/or canopy. We will have flags and designated areas to sit. Come five minutes early to find a spot. We ask that you fill in spots from the stage first so people are not walking over others to find a spot.

Will Calvary provide any service related materials?

Bring your own bible or use the Bible app on your mobile device. Access the mobile bulletin, worship song lyrics, connect card, and giving at calvarybible.com/thisweek.

What will services look like?

Households will worship together on the lawn while following Calvary’s social distancing guidelines. We will sing songs and hear a message.

What about my kids?

We encourage you to bring your kids and worship as a family. Before or after you join us, your kids can watch Kids Quest online beginning at 8am on Sundays.

How long will services last?

Services will be under an hour.

Will I be able to use the restroom?

Plan to use the restroom at home before coming to outdoor services. Restrooms may only be used in an emergency and one household at a time. Trained staff or volunteers will clean the restrooms every 30 minutes.

Are we going to be hosting an outdoor cafe?

We will not be having coffee and donuts for lawn gatherings.

Will I be able to access the building?

Building use will not be permitted.

What if there is inclement weather in the forecast?

In the case of inclement weather on a Sunday morning, be sure to check calvarybible.com for updates. Online services will be available starting at 8am on Sundays.
