The communications team is involved in nearly every aspect of ministry at Calvary Bible Church. We have the incredible privilege of proclaiming the good news of Jesus to our congregation and communities through our work. If you have a heart for people knowing and loving Jesus and have skills in graphic design, print production, and other communications skills, we’d love to hear from you!


To build Christ centered communities of people fully devoted to loving God and loving others by producing communications materials that promote the ministry of Calvary those both inside and outside our church.


Part time (20 hours).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the Creative Arts Team through creative input and organization for sermon series, ministry events, and church events.
  • Professional use of the following software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Pages, Microsoft Office, MailChimp, and WordPress. Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite applications is helpful.
  • Produce visual materials by printing, cutting, or ordering posters, flyers, brochures, banners, stickers, and other items.
  • Design of visual materials for promotions, signage, advertisements, brochures, registration forms, sermon series, and informative and instructional materials.
  • Contribute to Calvary’s digital communications by supporting work on, social media channels, and emails.
  • Contribute to Calvary’s media creation by supporting photography and video production.
  • Facilitate Calvary’s brand identity and its use throughout our ministries; monitor the use of logos, fonts and images that represent our organization to align with Calvary’s standards.
  • Identify new communication and marketing opportunities to clarify, strengthen and expand Calvary’s message. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
