Have you lost your way?
As young couples, we start our families with many good intentions. We dream of what our family, our marriage, and our kids will be like. But as a pediatrician for over 25 years, I've seen, first hand, that our expectations often fall short. Life happens, we get busy, and before we know it our family life is not what we thought it would be. Marriages become stressed and our precious little ones are not so precious anymore...why? Because life is tough and parenting is tough. We get stuck in a pattern of bribing, threatening/repeating, time-outs and ineffective consequences that lead to frustration.
In this class, we would like to present an alternative. We believe that the Bible provides, with certainty, ethical principles and practical applications for successful parenting. Through a better understanding of the impact of the husband-wife relationship, the importance of defining your family's values, and a focus on learning how to put values into the heart of your child, we hope to help you realize that you can raise morally responsible children who are a blessing to others.
